Ada Nangala Dixon, born in 1952 at Mount Doreen, Northern Territory, Australia, is part of a family tradition of painting. Her father, Pegleg Jampijinpa, and mother, Margaret Napangardi Brown, are both artists. Ada paints her father’s Ngapa Jukurrpa (Water Dreaming), depicting the land, plants and animals on recycled tote bags. © Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation, 2022.
